The Chavez Method: BackGround

Started at Chapin High School where I worked 4 years with athletic trainers, earning a scholarship for Kinesiology to the University of Texas at El Paso. At UTEP I learned practical skills as well as the science behind it all. In 2016, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, with a concentration in exercise science, with a Minor in Psychology. After graduating and through rigorous studies, thousands of hours of athletic training and sports medicine. I was able to take the Texas Athletic Training Licensure test. After over 100 questions and traveling out of town for the test and its practical portion, I passed and held my licensure until relocating out of Texas. Through the years, I have attended numerous seminars, classes and courses to maintain my licensure and continue my pursuit of knowledge. In 2020 I became a Certified Personal Trainer through Brookbush Academy. As well as a Human Movement Specialist, and developed skills in Integrated Manual Therapy.
These skills and my pursuit of education deepened my knowledge for helping people and have allowed me to see where I can help people the most.

From washing cars and helping my parents with their businesses, to working on division 1 sidelines and dug outs. To volunteering at clinics, charities and high schools. My experiences have always had a goal and were never taken for granted.
After graduating UTEP, I became the Head Athletic Trainer for El Paso Community College. Throughout school my biggest goal was to become a head athletic trainer, so in 2016 I accomplished that goal. EPCC allowed me to further my knowledge and deepened my love for helping people of all backgrounds and demographics. Through the years I had many opportunities to further my education and help people with my knowledge. I hosted events and games, as well as spoke to high school students about my career. and their opportunities. After being at EPCC I decided I wanted to help more than just athletes. I began helping people virtually through a clinic run out of Texas and Florida. I saw people everyday as a wellness coach and taught them proper nutrition, how to lose weight and healthy habits. Although important I was still confined to some restraints as a virtual wellness coach though insurance. Thus becoming an Onsite Injury Prevention Specialist. Where I was able to see factory employees before their shift, during and after shifts. I was an industrial Athletic Trainer with a clinic in a factory providing support to essential workers. I was able to help people out of pain, avoid injuries and educate on how to prevent problems. In 2022, I decided that I wanted to help people all across America. So my partner and I packed up and moved from El Paso Texas to Youngstown Ohio. In Ohio I have accepted positions with senior, retiring and even upcoming Chiropractors who have taught me techniques and practices that allowed them to help people. As well as broaden my experiences with helping people with any demographic. Throughout the years I have been able to experience things that as a car washer I never thought I would see let alone be the one with the knowledge to help.
